ADAPT Budapest 2012

22nd & 23rd November 2012

Improving Roma health policies

This meeting is being hosted by Semmelweis University Faculty of Health Sciences (Vas u. 17, 1088 Budapest).

Local organiser is Attila Dobos.

Roma provide perhaps the most extreme example of persisting health inequities In Europe. These inequities concern both their state of health and their access to appropriate, affordable health care. Despite many initiatives in recent years, progress on these issues has been disappointing. The aim of this meeting is to examine recent developments in Roma health policy, to identify obstacles to adopting and implementing effective policies, and to look for ways forward.

Details about the meeting will be circulated to those who have been invited or wish to attend. Please write to David Ingleby (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you wish to participate in this meeting (places are limited).
